Mortal Micronotz are a group of youngmen taht claim Lawrence, Kansas as their hometown. The Micronotz are Dean (16), the vocalist, David (18) the bassist, Steve (17) the percussionist, and John (17) the guitarist. The band recently played at the Crystal Pistol and they were kind enough to consent to this brutal line of questioning which follows:

P: Is this your first tour outside Kansas?
Steve: Yeah, it's kind of a parental preparation to get them used to doing this sort of thing. We're planning something really big for next summer.
P: What did you think of the Crystal Pistol and the rather limp dick crowd?
Steve: I thought they were very nice and very supportive. (Laughs)
