The Micronotz wall at Lucifers. The building, a shelled-out relic of the old Theta Chi house, was a prime target/hangout for all the young partiers and homeless persons in town. Lucifer's was torn down in 1993 to make way for the College Hill Condos that now stand at the spot.

There was an unspoken rule at Lucifer's that no one graffiti over the Micronotz wall. For eleven years, most everyone--punk rockers, stoners, hicks, Satan worshippers--abided by this rule. The day before demolition of Lucifer's in 1993, I visited the old structure, and the Micronotz wall was still pretty much the same as what you see here--eleven years after it was created.
