This web site, many years in the making, is a "once and for all" repository documenting the scene surrounding the Lawrence, Kansas alternative/punk rock scene from the late 70s to the current day.

I (Mike Blur) produced a "Lawrence punk history" website in 1997, and was largely pleased with the response. However, there were several negative nattering nabobs who took pleasure at sniping at me behind my back, without talking face to face, discussing alleged "inaccuracies." Despite being open as possible, including posting my street address on an internet forum, the backbiting continued. I decided to delete the website in its entirety--to the dismay of many, but it silenced the critics.

Here is the second go-round. The wiki format should make the page easily editable by anyone, and silence any critics who continually bleat that "I've got it wrong." I've said it elsewhere on this site, and I'll say it again--if you think something is wrong on this site, make a correction! Don't talk shit about me behind my back at the Replay, or to Tad in an email.

That said, (and moving in a positive direction) I encourage any additions and corrections to this wiki history site.
